We lead and co-invest in equity investments through recaps, acquisition or growth financings. We can be flexible in structure depending on the owners’ goals and are comfortable in either a majority or minority position.

We pursue growth-ready companies with up to $5 million EBITDA. We are most interested in firms that are loyalty leaders: they provide joy to customers, a meaningful culture and are led by managers with the courage to build impactful companies.

Brian founded Brooklyn Equity in 2015 and has 20 years experience in buying and building small companies. Previously, Brian co-founded private equity firm Generation Equity Investors and worked at Allied Capital, Swander Pace Capital, and in M&A at Citigroup. Brian graduated from Cornell with a B.A. in Economics and earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. Brian has three kids and is passionate about squash, scuba diving and travel off-the beaten-path.
